If you’ve ever wondered why we named our espresso blend “Flyover,” here’s the story. Growing up in central Indiana, it has always bothered me (Andy) a little when people call the Midwest “Flyover Country.” Like good things really only happen on the coasts, and everything else is just the earth in-between. I mean, I get it. Indianapolis ain’t L.A. Still, it’s sort of an unfair and elitist way of looking at things. It’s also not really true. Of course, we love the coasts and everything they have to offer. But the rest of our nation has plenty of its own beauty, charm, and greatness, too. You just need to have a little more patience and look a little more deeply. Blue Mind is all about finding beauty in places you’d least expect, especially in our home state. And so our Flyover blend is sort of a shout-out to the idea of discovering greatness in places that other people overlook. Amazing things are all around us if we’re willing to look for them!
